F-12 fuel pump question

I have a 1937 F-12, and I am re-working the fuel pump. It is an AC Model B as indicated on the housing. I was wondering what the cross reference number was for that? All I can seem to find on the net is TYPE references. What I have found for example is Type 512 or Type 511, etc.

I realize I can rebuild this with a parts kit, but the housing has some issues, and I would like to check out the local Napa before I order a rebuild kit or rebuilt pump.

I gues what I am looking for is an AC fuel pump application or cross over chart.

any input is welcome.

There is a place, that has an ad in Farm Collector magazine, for fuel pump repair kits. About $40 I think for a kit. It specifies F-12 and F-14.

The ad is on my desk at work, and I wont be in the office for a few days.

Do you want me to get you the phone and address?

Tom, I was on the phone with Gordon Rice today about parts and repair of AC fuel pumps. It seems that the main difference one has sealed check valve chamber and one has a removeable nut to get to the check valve for cleaning.
The one with the removeable nut is must found on kero burning F-12 and F-14. He has parts for both. I have heard that NAPA might have parts or kits for old '30 chevys. I have not had good luck with NAPA they are lazy don't want to look up old things. I think they don't have the knowledge. But Gordon Rice Is a book of Knowledge and he will talk on the phone.

Oldiron29 and other. Thanks for the replies. I did talk to Gordon today, and ordered a rebuild kit. I am still going to look for a NOS one somewhere, as I said, the body on this one has some serious pitting. Probably will be able to make it work, just would like to find a new spare if possible.

Although, with a NOS, the diaphram might be dry rotted over the years.

thanks again all.

Gordon has helped me figure out my problem several times. He is a gold mine of information on the 1930s tractors and his son is familiar with the letter series.
