What's it worth? - 44(?) 1 Row Cotton Picker on an M

I don't remember the year, but the other guy that went and looked at it with me thought 44. It is a one row cotton picker on an M that is on steel. It is still 6 volt with a DuPont overhaul (not so great). The fellow started it up for me and it started and moved good.
What do you think it is worth? I was thinking less than you might think. I think there are three big negatives that will hurt it's value.
1 - No cotton to pick in WI. It is always fun to use the tractors we have and you could never do that.
2 - It is on steel. I know that is a plus to some, but it is a neg to me. I can't take it anywhere! I buy mine to use.
3 - IMHO it is too tall to take on the trailer. You might be able to fit it on a "car trailer" type, but never on a typical gooseneck. I think you would take down every powerline on the road.
It of course has all the pluses as well, but those are more obvious.

To all who may be interested it looks like a heck of an IH auction. The old fellow had about a dozen and only two were on rubber! I think I have my eye on the Super W-6 and the 400. If you would like to go it is Sunday the 22nd in Sharon, WI.

Did you ever figure out what model the picker is? Just because the tractor is a 1944 has nothing to do with the year or model of the picker. High drum?, low drum?, single fan?, double fan? square basket corners?, round basket corners?, cast aluminum head top?, fabricated head top?, are just a few of the identifying features of various models.
