Super-A rear wheel removal

Trying to get a rear wheel off to replace the brake band.
Six bolts came out after some heat and PB Blaster, but I can't get the wheel off the hub, probable glued with rust, etc.
Anybody got any good tips or tricks for getting her loose? I don't want to bung up the axle bearings pounding where I shouldn't.
Thanks.

Bang on tire with sledge. Make sure tractor is secure and wale away. stand clear if its the cast on or they have the weights on. Alternate side whack in then out. Do you have the new seals yet replace them even if not leaking yet. Look at axle and if grooved from old seals get some speedy sleeves to fit or the breaks won't stop you for long.

I usually have pretty good luck with an impact hammer. Like a mufler removal tool but with a flat end. Just rattle around the edge of the hole for awhile and the rust will break loose. Works for me... Bernie Steffen
