Red Power Round Up - Hallsville Tractor Pull Canceled

Sorry, but the pull we were planning on having near the Red Power Round Up on Saturday has been canceled due to rain. We really tried - but its hard to fight 3+ inches of rain in 12hrs. I guess I'll spend Saturday helping pull trucks and trailers out of the mud at the RPRU.

Steve, I am going up to the Red Power Round Up tomorrow Saturday. Is everything still good at Columbia Missouri or has the rain dampened the Roundup.
 
The Rain has dampeded the fairgrounds, but not dampened the spirits. There is plenty to do in the dry. Yes it is muddy, but still a great show!
 
Rain, hail and wind ruined my trip. I am just east of Wichita, was gonna take off last night. Saw some really dark clouds and thought it might be a good idea to stay at home with the wife for a while. Good thing, quarter to half-dollar sized hail, wind, tornado warning. Roof leaks kept me up much of the night trying to limit the damage to the ceiling.
Guess there is another year for RPRU. Sucks because I had the Cub Cadet 102 in the bed of the truck and suitcase packed.
