I like smart talented smart people.
I ran into a gentleman there who had built a 1/4 size F-12. The frame, wheels etc etc were exact match. he cut and welded and cut and welded...and...most importantly of all...he engineered and built the identical engine 1/4 size---and it ran. He started it up. He told me that he machined the cam, crank and the gears. If you were not careful...you would miss the exhibit...It looked like another chinese made knock off and it would be easy to miss the talent involved in the process. Noteworthy...he had even fabricated a 1/4 size magneto...but he could not get it to work properly...spark kept jumping in the wrong place. Nevertheless...
