I recently acquired a 1953 Farmall Super H stage 2.I am pondering the best way to set up the loader controls, three point hitch,2 way,and 2 way remotes.Would it be better, neater and cleaner to run 2 two spool valves. One would have power beyond.I would mount these in 2 seperate locations.I want to keep a spool open for the loader bucket which I will proably convert it to hydraulic control instead of a trip bucket.Or would a 4 spool valve be better? They're just so large.
Thanks Vito

I would keep the 2 spool valve, like you say that big 4 way up there is going to look pretty out of place and i would not want to do that to that tractor.

Two 2-spool valves are going to look pretty out of place, too... There just isn't much room to mount stuff on the platform of an H. We had to really work hard to tuck a single-spool valve into a non-obtrusive, yet usable, location on Dad's Super H.

One distinct advantage to the two-two-spool option is that you presumably already have the valves. 4-spool valves are not cheap, even from SurplusCenter.

Personally, I'd mount the loader valves on the loader frame, so that if you ever remove it, the valves go with it. See if you can tuck the 3pt valves under the light bar on the right hand side. That's where we put the single valve on Dad's.
