Is this a very hard job to do yourself on a farmall 450? Using an I T manual to do so.

Splitting stands, and a cherry picker are great help, it is a double split, wyth the mid section of the torque tube being heavy. JimN

As far as building the actual ta itself it depends on how deep into it you need to get. I would replace all the needle bearings inside the sungears, the ramp and rollers, and machine the carrier and replace the internal bearings and seal. I have parts if you need them and would be happy to help you out step by step in assembling the ta.
