What oil can I use for my 2400B industrial 4 cylinder gas tractor (C157 motor)? The reprinted manual I have does not say (to todays standards of oils anyways). Thanks

Depends on the temperature to some degree, Here in NW Washington I run 10W-30 in my M. Just plain Chevron Oil I get at Costco.

It can get to 0 degrees here (sometimes a little less) in upstate NY. Mostly in the teens in the winter.

The lowest it gets here is probobly down to 5 degrees with the windchill, but only a couple times a year. You might be able to get by with 10W-30, or something comparable to what most people in you neck of the woods use in their cars.
