One more thought while I got your minds. Want to take the front wheels off and replace the rubber. In the service manual it talks about leather and felt seals. What do people use? Are there suppliers who sell these? Thanks Ryan

If it is tires you are replacing, take two pieces of 2X6, one 18 inches long, and the other 8 inches long. nail them together with the short one centered on the longer one. drive up on the board with one tire, and the other is off the ground. If you are working on beqrings, You can do the same, but you will need more help getting things set correctly, and getting bearing races out. A repair manual is needed to understand the process, and not have bearing failure. JimN

You can get sets through case ih that have the seals, bearings, and gaskets all in one kit. What ive done to get the tire and rim off is run one tire up on a tire changing ramp. Do the one side and then do the other. Ive tried boards but i think it is a little safer having the ramps. Just make sure you put the tractor in gear and set the brakes to prevent it front from rolling on you.

The seals and bearings are probobly available at an auto parts store if you get the size of them. Case IH made me fill my drawers when i bought my belt pulley seals for my M. Thirty dollars, then i found out my friend had them at napa for $11. The blocks of wood works good for a ramp.
