Just wondering if the International Super A's with the highway mower are rare? Would it be worth restoring it? The tractor is complete with foot throttle, loader, side sicklebar mower, rear weight bucket, diamond front axle, rear wheel weights, etc.. Engine is stuck (I tore it apart #3 piston was stuck. The sheet metal has surface rust but is perfectly straight (no dents). I would also like to know if anyone has pictures of their own they could post or email me. I also have a shop mule that I may restore if anyone has pictures of those that would help alot. Thank you, Joe

They made millions of 'em. Well . . . not exactly millions. But one of the reasons the A survived while the B was replaced with the C was its popularity as a road-mowin' machine. That narrow left side was good for not stickin' out into the road.

Which is by way of sayin' that an awful lot of them were sold with the mowers right on 'em for just that purpose. Nothin' rare about it, but a nice little tractor all the same. If I had one out in the yard, you can bet I'd be workin' on gettin' her back in runnin' order. I'm thinkin', too, that I wouldn't mind havin' that foot-feed mechanism on some other tractors I've got.

As long as you aren't lookin' to make any money out of the job, I say go for it.
