M road grader

While blundering through the hills of the Missouri Ozarks last weekend I stumbled across a local that had an M with a frame mount grader as he described it. He still usses it extensively and the neighbors think he's a God when it snows. Never saw anything like it before and was even happier to see it still in use. Will try to convince him to let me haul him and the tractor to Columbia next week.

Unusual machines - but not THAT unusual...

This Trojan-built Farmall M grader sits outside a construction equipment museum near Canandaigua NY. Next to it parked a Case farm tractor-based Galion. There's a couple other Farmall/Trojans that show up at local tractor shows. And I've seen similar factory-built graders based on Oliver and Minneapolis-Moline tractors.

Interesting adaptations of venerable farm tractors!

Bob, That M looks nice, I've seen a couple H's and M's with road graders before, but I've never saw a "TROJAN" road grader before.

Here's another for you Andy.

According to the nameplate it's a "Galion Patrol Model C Hydraulic Control". It is built on Case L(?) tractor engine/transmission/rear end.

Manufacturer of this one is unknown. However from the appearance of the front axle/wheels it may also be a Galion. The engine/rear end appear to be from an IHC W30 - the standard tread variant of the Farmall F30 tractor.

Whatever it is I'll bet it was an SOB to run!
