i have inherited my dads farmall 300, some one put a chrome ball on gear shift lever, i have found where R and L is, what is the gear shift pattern on a 300

same as an H or M all the way to L and up rev, Straight down 1st over a little to the R and up 2nd straight down 3rd over a little more to R and up 4th straight down 5th,

The shift pattern is supposed to be on a decal on the dash. The shift pattern never was on the knob.
