gas caps

Are all of the free replacement gas caps the tall type? My original cap was the lower profile vented type, but the one they sent me was the taller type. It looks a little funny compared to the one that was on it. Just wondering...

Tall caps are safety caps, low ones aren't.

You'll get used to the tall cap. They really are much safer... Stopped for gas on my way to plow a friend's garden with the Super A, which has the old "Buy clean fuel, keep it clean" low cap on it. It was almost empty, but just by removing the cap, I ended up with a bunch of gas on the top of the tank. Never had that with the tall caps.

Just ordered the replacement at www.ihgascap.com.

The low cap is not a "safety cap", only the tall triple baffle ones. I've ordered several caps from ihgascap.com and I think they look much better than the old short ones, and they are safer too.
