To remove front section of steering shaft.... 1) Remove grill; 2) Remove plug in front of steering box; 3) Disconnect u-joint between front and rear steering shaft; 4) Turn front section of steering shaft out through the front of the steering box. mike

to remove the steerig shaft, you need disconnect the shaft up near the tem and oil pressure gauge. there should be a u-joint there with a bolt. take the bolt out and spray up the shaft with penetrating oil. if it has power steering, ie char-lynn, there is a roll pin you need to drive out. next unscrew the big pipe plug cap at the front of the top of the steering bolster, once out the shaft will unscrew out of there. you should be able to get the two lower mounting bolts for the radiator out without dropping the front axle. yours may still have the mud shield under there. you also need to unbolt the cooling fan shroud from the radiator, and set it back toward the engine to get the radiator to clear .
