h drawbar source

Hi all, anyone know a source for a drawbar for an H? Ours has one, but it's REALLY short....I need a longer one I was told to be able to hook a baler up. Thanks again, as always.

Look at the front end of the drawbar where it attaches to the tractor's belly. These drawbars usually have 2 holes at the front end to make them either short or standard length. Usually it is a matter of just unbolting and rebolting the front of the drawbar. Really, I have never seen an H with a short drawbar, but maybe somebody cut it off for some reason, (like this is possible, but sure seems stupid!).

If you are good at welding, it would be no big deal to extend the bar you have. Also, almost any tractor bone yard should have a drawbar available for the H for under $50.

You need that special triangular shaped drawbar extension that bolts to the horseshoe drawbar. It was made especially for P.T.O. work.

Finding a good used drawbar might take a little looking, the hole for the pin gets worn. They can be welded up easily if you know what you are doing.

Some aftermarket drawbars are thinner than stock and will bend.

Hello...just wondering if you'd be willing to part with one of your drawbars? It looks to me like the one we have was cut short.

Thats how I remember it.

A bolt on receiver so to steady against the PTO and so not beat the swinging drawbar to death.

I believe the measurement from the tip of the PTO shaft to the center of the drawbar hole should be 14". Check to make sure your drawbar is really too short before you get too excited.
