New-not sure

Hey there folks, I am a little new to the RED ones and was wondering what a good resource was for the early Farmalls, curious about the differences between like the Regular/F12/F14. until I get the sr# tomorrow evening I don't have much to go on. Bought I was told a F12 he thought at a auction(owners son). I don't even know where the # is. Read a little about them but the number is either on the frame or on the transmission up by the front? thanks up front, Kent in south central Kansas

Serial # would be on a plate on the front support of the gas tank or a milled spot near the fuel pump on an F12. On the F20, on the tool box under the gas tank and the left frame rail just behind the rear motor mount.

thank you, I will be finding out tomorrow evening when I go and get it. I'll try to post some pics of her at a later date. She's pretty rough, needing some front/rear wheels and tires, not sure if she is stuck but we will see.
Thanks for your reply. Kent

You bought a tractor just because it was red, and you don't even know what it is?

Well, you're our kind of guy! You're entitled to your choice of a medal or a Klondike bar. :)
