Low Boy 185

I changed the hydraulic filter on a low boy 185, checked and added hyd fluid at the 3 points mentioned in the manual. (only one point needed more hyd fluid) After mowing for about an hour, the left rear wheel came off, all 5 bolts were sheared off. I'm guessing the transmission locked up. any other thoughts on what might have caused it/what to look for to repair it. One additiional note, the left rear wheel has always (last 20 years) had a small hyd leak, I've just added the hyd fluid as needed instead of repairing the leak.

Im not sure what your problem is, but I dont see as to where you could snap all 5 bolts by simeply changing the fluid in the tranny. Maybe something broke here, or something broke there and got something in a bind bad enoguh to break them.

I checked with local dealer, he indicated the bolts probably got loose over time and finally got sheared off. The wheel/tire assembly weighs about 450 lbs.
