Woods Mower

Will a Woods U306 6ft mower fit on a Farmall Super C?? The guy selling it says it will fit on an A, but I need it for a Super C. As you can tell, I dont know much about them!!! Thanks, Steve

Steve: The mounting of mower, mounting of idler pullies and belt will all be different for a SA from a SC. When these mowers are sold new they come with a mounting kit for a specific tractor. That kit from Woods will be $500.+ I built a kit to change from A to a SA, and that cost me $300.

With a torch, a welder, some scrap steel, and some time, anything is possible.

That mower powered off an A or Super A probably runs off the right-angle belt pulley drive, which is the same on a Super C. You'll need to figure out how to hang the "mule drive" pulleys under the Super C in the right position to guide the belt onto the belt pulley.

Your other major challenge will be in mounting the mower, getting it level, and in the correct position.

I have the drive parts for the SC it uses the belt pulley mount and your frame for the 306 will mount to it.
