Ih 340u no hyd.?????

i got a 340 u not running but pretty complete , got it home runs good after i cleaned the points , it has a loader and power steering but nothing in the hyd. system works havnt had much time to look at it . just wonderin if there is a common fault with this that would cause it to loose all hyd. flow . thanks mike

Id say start with the simple stuff. Since its been sitting, change the oil and filter if you havent already. From what your describing Id say your pump is either starving or worn out. Otherwise a line or something after the pump may be plugged starving the rest of the system of the oil it needs.

Let us know what you find.

Yea gonna try the simple fixes first . seams as though it would at least try to move with no load on it . dont know we'll see in the next day or so . mike

YEp plugged up filter changed oil and filter works good now .l8tr mike
