What is wrong with these ####### hydraulics

I have a 340 farmall rowcrop. It was not running when purchased, but, now runs fine. I put a new hyd. filter, and changed the fluid. and finally got the hyds working. When I come back the next day the fast-hitch is laying on the ground, and I have to take the linkage apart and move the lever all the way and it will start working again. also it is very touchy, if I move it slightly it will go all the way down, or up. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

follow the hydraulic lines up from the fast hitch cylinder, they should go under the seat and connect to a "junction block" looking thing. this is a check valve for the cylinder. could be the o rings in there are bad. if you go to the case-ih website and look up the parts, you will find an exploded view of the valve. if georgeky sees this post he may chime in, he helped me with my 240 utility when i had fasthitch problems.
