Farmall A Carburetor

The carburetor part number on my 1939 Farmall A is 52499 D. I"m looking at one on e-bay with a part number of 385698R1. Is this the same carburetor? Only the back side is shown. Anybody have a conversion table?

Are you looking for a Carb? I was just going to list one off my 46 A that is fully painted, rebuilt, and runs perfect. I put it back on to make sure all the setting were right. I know this is correct for your A but I'm not sure of the # but its original. Let me know if your interested before I list it or you can look for it on Ebay. I was going to start the auction for $75 and hoped to get $95. My Email [email protected] thanks DAN.

If your carburetor is not broken or otherwise damaged, why not just have it rebuilt? It will cost less than you think, and you are guaranteed to have a good carb. You can buy a used one on ebay, but it may or may not be any better than what you have now.
