I would like to say thanks for the replies on this subject . I know it has been 10-12 days since I posted . But have been useing it and am done . I would say it to be the orbit motor that turns the fan from the pto pump . Had in more air at a idle than I had at full throttle . Did make sure to recheck the other sujestions . I have farmed with my parents for almost 42 and never planted corn untill this year do to my dad being killed in a farm accident last Nov . he was 62 .
So a new ecperience this year . Thanks again. Marv

It was the same story on the home place. Dad always planted everything, whether it be wheat oats, corn or soybeans. Things changed when my brother whom stayed on the farm, finally insisted on trying notill on the more highly erodable ground. Dad wouldn't run the planter, so my brother did, and things turned out OK. Dad never planted anything thereafter.

glad to have offered suggestions, even if they weren't the actual answer. thats the beauty of these forums. i've learned (and relearned) lots of things that helped me with machines that weren't working right. sorry about your dad. thats a difficult way to learn to plant corn and all.
