How to free up cluch?

I have a 35 f20 which runs and looks good but doesn't move yet. I looked in the inspection plate. After I cleaned out all the mouse nests I could see that the throw out bearing moves freely but I can not move the release levers (fingers) at all. How can I free this up.Those mice are something else. When I finaly got it running, corn came flying out off the exhaust. My wife thought I made popcorn and didn't give her any. Thanks Bill

The way to get it un-stuck is to shock it loose...get it out in a rough field, you would need to pull start it with another tractor......F-20 ,no starter right.....

with the F-20 in a high gear = more shock....holding the clutch in ...pull start it with other tractor...after F-20 starts keep the front tractor and chain loose but out of the way of the F-20.....drive over rough ground (plow furrows) until clutch breaks loose.....

rember if it does not break loose and you must stop shut F-20 engine off first.....

I would use a spray like TriFlo with a long spout to put lube on the pins and pivots of the PP. unless these are free, it will not push in. Even then the tractor will probably need to be disassembled to get the disk loose from the FW. best of luck, JimN

Bill,Dont pull start it, things can happen very fast,I play with these all the time and its better to push than to pull,so nothing will be in front of you,You can dismantle a clutch on a F20 in a hour or so,Ive got a F30 that the clutch was stuck so bad I had to break the cast clutch cover apart and take the pressure plate bolts out before I could get every thing apart.Take your presure plate and soak it in diesel,or some other liquid and try pushing on the fingers to lossen it

I must respectfully disagree with the shock stuff. Bad things can happen to a good clutch. i would try JAnicholsons suggeston first and after a reasonable effort, I would take it apart and free it up and clean it very good.

Those mice. The clutch levers are probably not the problem. The mouse nest and its destruction finds its way between the pressure plate and the pressure plate carrier thus making the pressure plate impossible to move. The leverage the throwout bearing has on the fingers is great and if that was the problem foot pressure would disengage the clutch and it wouldnt engage when you let off the pedal. the F20 engine isnt the smoothest maybe running it will shake it loose but quite often the clutch disc is rusted to the input shaft an wont slide either. Most likely its going to have to come apart to have the clutch work right.
