140 sway bar

I have a 140 with fast hitcn and need to know how to properly set the sway bar,I was trying to plant with a corn planter and it was dancing back and forth Thanks

Cris: If this is a fast hitch corn planter you must unlock the sway bar while planting. Failure to do so will result in breakage of the planter. The sway bar as you call it must be unlocked while using all fast hitch implements that penetrate the soil.

If it is not a fast hitch planter, the sway bar should have a pin/bolt hole in it locking the sway motion. If it is a FH planter, listen to what Hugh said. JimN
