Right Sequence

Hi Gentelmen,

I sure hope you folks don't get sick of me asking so many questions about the same subject matter? I am just a little slow.

I just want to make sure I have this matter in the right sequence about the plow situation for my Farmall C and Super C Tractors. It is like Radio Shack you have good, better and best.
* Good: 2PTH and plow
* Better: C-199 double
* Best: C-294; C-295; C-295A

A friend has a pull behind 2X14, but he didn't say what it was, probably a Little Genius #8?

I do have an after market 3PTH that is on my Farmall C, does this make any difference in my selections. If so is there still a good, better, and best choice? You have been so helpful. Thank you, any help will be very appreciated.

I was playing on the wengers web site and came across what looks like a c-193 2 way plow for a farmall c. Looks to me its complete with the plow arms as its a mounted moldboard plow with new paint for $350. The web address is external_link. Dont know how good they are as im restoring my c-193 plow but i use the little wonder 1 16 bottom and it does a good job in the garden.

Bob, you have 3 pt hitch correct. so a 2 point will not work without changing the hitch.
A 2 way plow has a mounted frame will not work with 3 point you will have to remove hitch.
So least amount of work would be 3 point hitch 2 bottom plow. oldiron29

Yes, that's correct. Though I can purchase the 2PTH that goes into the 3PTH. Another friend say he has parts for a 2PTH. So I believe my options are plenty, but am looking for the best system for the tractors, without getting too far out of my price range. Thanks!

I have seen adaptors made so that a tractor with a 2pt can use 3pt implements but never the other way around. I also don't know if a 2pt will mount up to a C. Sam

Yes, I think I have in backwards the 2PTH then the 3PTH adaptor onto that. Yes, there is hydraulics on my Farmall C and Super C. They can have the 2PTH system. Thanks!

The add-on three pt plows will not work very good. If you want to do a good job with a plow use the fast hitch or a pull. I had the one that bolted to the axle it was 2-14 and worked good.Just wasnt any fun taking on and off.
