oil in muffler?????????

Hello all, Got a good one here. I just got a Farmall that has a under slung exhaust. When I run it, it starts up fine and when it warms up it starts smoking blue from the exhaust. Then when I shut her down you can hear something boiling in the muffler. Well, I drilled a little hole in the muffler and oil ran out. So i decided to pull the plugs and see whats up. Well, all the plugs are dray any NO oil on them and they are a light tan in color. Any suggestions

Likely condensation from not running at normal engine temperature. Cover the radiator and allow the engine to get good & warm, then work the tractor for a while to allow the muffler to get hot enough to burn away any accumulated moisture.
If the spark plugs look normal I would not be very concerned.

I agree that it probably is nothing to worry about.
The first chance you get to work it all day will tell a lot.
Make sure the oil is full then spend the day pulling a plow or brushchopper keeping the rpm and temp up all day.

We have a Super C that hadn't run in a number of years when we aquired it. When we first got it running, it spit oil out the muffler...after about a week of twitching logs & working the tractor, it stopped spitting oil & hasn't been any trouble since.
