what do you recomend for timing on a stock c264 in a super m for pulling stock classes? i had the dist. apart and put the light chevy springs in it. it seems to be stiffer than the worn ones that were in it. it has a 30*adv. assemly in it. i have a new 22* one i can use if it will help. where would you set the initial timing at an idle? Thanks in advance. Randy

Now i am not Chad but when i build one up I set them for 28 at high end . and for idle timing set of no more then 5 degrees . But i do the set up on a Dist. machine and as for what the curve is well lets just say that i do not pass that info along. All i can tell ya that to much at the wrong time will hurt ya . As tractor pulling is not like drag racing and what every know about tuning a engine for the drag strip is not going to put ya in the money in tractor pulling . I have been doing dist. since i was 16 and that was many moon's ago . I was 17 when i bought my first Sun Dist strobe and scope set up .
