What size model combine do they take mortor out of to use in a supperC tractor

don't know but I have never seen one that you can get the sheet metal to look right after you put a combine motor in a SC. the motor doesn't fit the same.

Its a 50 hp motor .I have seen 3or4 around here. They really make a SUPER C. It usually fits right in some times depending on the motor you have to make a few alterations. I have also seen a few with a swather motor and they are 35 hp. I think they will fit right in exept for the casting where the starter goes it leaves a small opening there.

Didn't the combines/swathers have a different styly flywheel/clutch setup than the typical Supper C flywheel/clutch??? Shrps74

The IH 203 combine and IH 201 windrower have a C-153 engine that will fit. I just looked at two of them that ran really good, no smoke and good oil pressure, near Gettysburg PA. I don't know where you're located, but if you want his info let me know. $800 each, complete.

You also have to bore the end of the crankshaft for a pilot bearing. Bernie Steffen
