CRANK PULLEY REMOVAL

Fellas,
I got the engine out of my M. It appears that someone may have welded the pin in that holds the crank pulley on. I cannot figure out for the life of me how to get this thing off.

It has the extremelylarge nut around the shaft and the pin that appeared to be welded in, plus a small flathead countersunk screw of some sort. I need to get this pulley off so I can get the crank, block pistons and head to my machinist. Any ideas how to get this off? I read through the blue ribbon manual, but it says nothing about it. Please help!
Thanks,
Brian

soak up the pin and set screw real good with pb blaster. then you need to remove the set screw. after that is out, drove the pin out of the crankshaft with a brass drift so you dont mushroom the end. the big nut is 2 1/2 inch i think. i have a big open end wrench that i use to take em off. once off, use a 3 jaw puller to remove the crank pulley. its not a press fit. check the seal surface on the crank pulley for a wear ring area. if so, it will need at least a speedy sleeve. my machine shop guy cut the groove off my pulley on the lathe, then put a press fit sleeve on.
