Super C axle clamps

Am installing a mounted plow on Super C. How do the axle clamps go on the axle? Long side up or down. Maybe even will work either way but would like to know proper way. Thanks for info Bernie Steffen

The taller side with the sort of angle to it and the longer eyebolt goes on top.

Idea is that a lot of things you mount to it have a lip at the top with a notch down through the middle of them. Leave the nut threaded out some on that top eyebolt, and when you go to hog-wrassle the implement into place, line that notch in the iron on the implement up and flip the top eye bolt over into the notch to hold it until you can snug it down. That, of course, is after you've finagled the bottom eybolts into position.
