Frame Weights on 350, 450 etc

I recently acquired a set of these. Now then, I need to know how many and what kind of bolts secures them to the tractor. The parts books say two bolts each side, 5/8" x 4". Sounds like not enough to me. Each weigh has four holes; will all match up w/ holes in the frame so you can use four bolts per side? How about the two front vertical holes(for cultivators), should some kind of bolts go there? Anyone with experience, please give me some guidance. Thanks.

If they all line up, I don't see any reason you couldn't use four bolts.

Two would hold one of them, if only because they're there just for the clamping force, and there's nothin' wimpy about a 5/8" bolt. You can also consider that flare at the front end will rest on your front casting or the top of your rail depending where you mount it, and will help support the weight.

As far as the vertical holes at the front, if they'll line up with the vertical holes in the weights and will take a 5/8" NC bolt, no reason you couldn't use them.
