I just purchased a 2-pt 2 bottom plow the furrow pt is 2.5 inches lower than the other side is that correct or modified nobody has seen that before

Not sure what you are asking but the point will be lower than the share. Would help to see a picture.

What are you planning to pull it with? The SC and 200 had a special rod on the left to level up using the touch control to the inside rocker arm. Also, the front of the belly frame had to be extended and attached to the right rocker arm. The left lever controlled pitch and the right controlled front to rear level. All others had more conventional level adjustments. The furrow side point should be a little higher when setting on level ground.

Gilbert,

I think I know what you're talking about.

You are talking about the pins that attach to the tractor's 3pt hitch.

Yes, it is normal for the furrow pin (right) to be lower than the land pin (left).

This is because the furrow wheel (right) is in the furrow. The tractor is leaning to the right. You want the plow to cut a flat furrow, so the plow needs to lean back to the left to be level.

I think you are right(kinda). He is talking about 2 point instead of 3 point but yes one hitching prong is lower than the other.
