H tractor sold cheap

Was out talking to dad today, told me he bought a late model h from neighbor for $300.00 Says it runs just the distributar has a problem cause it gets out of time right away when u start it, re time it and it does the same thing, but hey for $300.00 buck and it even has a loader on it, looks like a farmhand loader,no welds on the loader and the tractor is in pretty good shape and has a snowbucket on it. The only thing the tractor is missing is the hood. Even has a wide front end on it.

MY 1942 A done the same thing but it was due to a chipped tooth on the governor gear. It eventually quit running all together until I tore it down andput nears timing gears. It started with a slight knock and then it started jumping time right after it was started.

It could also be the distributor shaft, I guess you will find out soon enough.
