Who carries these plates and have the nicest ones for a Farmall Regular and F-20 in your opinion?
Thank you!

Just got one from OEM for a SMTA and it's flawless. Spendy and takes a long time. I'm sure thay are outsourcing them..Can anyone find the maker and post his location? Cut out the middle man?

Talking nameplates, I am looking for one for a Hebard shop mule. I realize they are much different from an F-20 or Regular, but would appreciate it if anyone knows of a source. Would consider either a new blank, or an old one off of a parts tractor.

Although I haven't got any plates from him, Robert Diener in Morgantown, W. Va has them. I don't know the cost.

What you have is a tractor that originally came with the Waukesha engine but has a factory replacement engine, hence the FSR lettering. A normal block would read FS and the number. A number as low as yours would definitely be a Waukesha engine, so there's no way of telling what the original tractor serial number should be. The original tag could have been riveted to the hood or the front gas tank support depending on serial number. I have seen several like this so I am pretty confident what you have.

I don't have quite the first hand Old-F20 does, but I just spoke with Robert today regarding 15-30 tags (I don't have an original [but know where to find one], and it's not my tractor right now, so I can't say it will be a go, but Robert noted he is interested if it works out on my end). His tags are not outsourced; actually he has them blanked by one of the companies that had made them for IH in the first place. Just some of the ideosyncracies he noted regarding various models he's made already, not to mention attention for detail in general, I have no doubt he is meticulous to detail.

They are more expensive than the ones I've seen on the internet, but I'd suspect both the quality and "correctness" are each of proportional degree to the price vs. those - so if both are important to you, you're probaby getting a bargain paying more. Then again, no first hand yet, so only a guess.
