IH 674/684

I currently have a 674 tractor that runs and I am looking for a front end loader. I found a 684 that is in pretty rough shape with a bad engine. It has a loader, will this loader fit on a 674? I don't know any info off of the loader. Thanks

If it fits 684 should fit 674..IH loader for that era would likely be 2250, but have seen 1850 on before

Hi, the only area that is different between 674/684 is the spacing of the mounting holes on the casting in front of the rad. We attempted to put a front cast weight from 674 on 684 and holes would not line up. Some loaders only use the sde mounting holes which are the same. We moved a 2250 from 495 to 3230 and we had to drill two new holes in front mounting plate.

An 1850 IH loader will bolt right on that tractor with no problems.
