#60 grader blade

Just picked up a Super A #60 grader blade and i have a few questions. I havent mounted it yet but the clearance to the front grill looks pretty slim - is there usually an issue with damaging the side of the grill with these blades? Also, after reading thru some old posts it sounds like there was a decal somewhere on the blade. Can anyone tell me what the decal was and where it was positioned?
Thanks in advance for any help!!

Yes you might damage the grill on your super A if there is any wear on the lift linkage it will hit the right hand side of the tractor. You can fix that with a little work and a few washers i think, or you might have to bend it with a little heat. The front blade is also hard on the steering on the A. But they do a good job of leveling and moving snow if its not to deep.

Yes, they are prone to rub on the grill sheet medal. My 140 still has the scratches on there from the blade I used to have. Also, the linkage will interfere with the headlight on the RH side. My 140 has a modified bracket to raise the light up so it is out of the way. Either that or remove the light. These blades make a great snow plow. I used mine a lot for that when we used to have snow here in East Tennessee. Pushed snow up to 20 inches deep. However,it's been years since there has been enough snow to plow.
