Carbs on Farmall H

Are the carbs for the kerosene run engines the same as the gas engines? Will one work as well on either tractor?

THe only difference that I've been told is the type of drain plug. The distillate carbs have a wingnut drain, and the regular gas have just a square plug drain.

I'm sure either one will work fine with either type. Only the Correct Police care about the difference.

... which is why I got my ticket and had to switch.

Might also be a difference in the size of the holes in the main metering stem, but I doubt if you will notice the difference, and that part is easily changed out if desired.

I assume you mean Distillate carburetor. There was a Distillate carburetor and there was a Gasoline Carburetor. Both work fine, but I prefer a Gas carb.
