Farmall Super A rear rims and lift link

Hi, I have a 51 Farmall Super A that has a rear rim size of 8 inches where the tire bead would sit and a total width edge to edge of 10 inches. Can I put a 11.2 tire on or a 9.5 only? The tractor was in a fire and the tires burned completely. I am restoring it with my son. Also, need the lift link that goes from the rear rockshaft to the front rockshaft arm on the left side. Any help would be appreciated. Thankyou

I am pretty sure my Super A has 12 x 24 rears. Can't tell for sure without going down the hill to look and supper is about to hit the table. If the lift link cannot be found it should be pretty easy to make one up.

My Super A has 11.2's on the back of it. The only problem is , that the tires can't be set all the way in, or they will rub the fenders. It is still fine for plowing and almost everything else, I am just not sure if it would work out for cultivating in tight rows.

Scott: You can increase tire sizes, however every tire has printed on sidewall the ideal size rim for that tire. I you do not use that ideal rim size, you will not get maximum traction from that tire. That is true, whether it be SA or a 350 hp articulated.

If the fire got hot enough to burn tires, I doubt if rims are much good anyhow.
