300 pistons in super h

I was wondering if anybody could answer this question, Can I put a 300 overbore kit in my Super H and still run sleeves? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

Not unless the block was replaced with a later IH replacement block. Going by memory on what I think the following # is. Original SH cast # 358068 blocks are around 1/16 inch diameter to small of a bore size to use the 300, 350 size sleeves in block without machine work.

In case I misunderstand what you are asking. Thinwall sleeves and 3-9/16 pistons are made to fit the SH block with no boring. If you go to 3-9/16 piston sleeves for a 300 or 3-5/8 piston sleeves for a 300 or 350 they won't work without boring the standard SH block.
