M brake seal replacement

Hello on my 1940 M with lambert disc brakes I need to replace the seal. My question is can I replace it by just removing the brake assembly or do i have to dig deeper? Does any one know what the number for a replacement seal might be? Thanks, Mike S

You can remove the seal by just removing the brake assembly. Also remove the splined adapter shaft, then you can pull out the old seal and install the new one. Get the number of the old seal before you mangle it getting it out

been there, done that

Any good auto parts store or the CaseIH dealer can cross the old number and get you a new seal.
