Is the yoke on the lift-all left hand thread. I know the one on the transmission that runs the lift-all pump is right hand thread.

Is there an easy way to hold the pump while loosening the yoke?

According to the manual, remove the pump body from the housing and insert a piece of flat stock into the pump inlet opening far enough to jam the gears.
