I have a 1086 IH with 3 hydraulics.2 of the hydraulics have check valves. Is there a way to bypass these without replacing the check valve blocks with custom made hydraulic lines?

What do you mean by check valves?

If you are talking about the couplers that have the arm to engage the balls on the couplers (coupler in the top right hand part of the picture) then there are adapters available to convert to pioneer (adapter is laying on it's side). Or you can replace the coupler body with one to the left of it that accepts the pioneer ends.

If you are refering to something other than this, I have no idea what you are refering to as a check valve. Never seen one in all my hydraulic days on a 1086.

Check valves were a factory option or clould be ordered & installed later. Used to keep a heavy implement from setteling. You could remove them and replace the steel lines with hoses. Have also cut one end of the steel line and used a compression fitting made for that purpose the extend the line on back to the coupler body. Will work fine.

If you mean you just don't want the check valve to function, just take the plugs out of each end and remove the springs and balls and save for future .
