Question for the F-20 Guys

What would be suitable rod bearing clearance on a F-20. I realize you dont want them too tight since it is a splash lube system but too much will beat the bearings out. Your help is appreciated. Thanks

I try to set mine at .004

between .002 and .003 should be fine,even wouldnt worry about .004.

kinda depends on how round the babbit is still.

i check mine at BDC and at either 3 or 9 '0 clock on the stroke as well. dont wants anything really tighter than .003 if its not perfectly round
