350 Utility TA

I have a customers 350 in my shop and the TA is bad. I tried to convince him to let me repair it but he wants the TA removed. The parts to make it a non TA can not be obtained at my C/IH dealer as they are obsolete. Are there any sources out there that can help me with the parts? I really wanted to fix the TA but he is pretty set on removing it and I learned a long time ago that you sell the customer what he wants not what he needs. Thanks in advance.
 
Hy capacity shows one for 490 bucks. I have just taken the rollers out of the ramp and threw away appropriate linkages on a 560 many years ago and it worked ok. Of course rest of ta would have to be working good in direct drive. Can do this with one split between rear section and ta housing and removing top ta cover. Food for thought.
 
If you put the TA in the forward position and remove the handle It will be the same as not having one..and a lot cheaper that trying to find a TA delete kit.

As you are probably aware, even with a shot low side of the ta, by just unhooking the linkage and running in direct drive you may very well have shifting problems as them rollers in the ramp will still jam in there and prevent free roll back for shifting even when they are not in good enough conditon to pull the tractor.
