Am restoring 560 gas, in doing research on what white color to paint the engine side panels below the engine hood. Have been told it's an off-white color that is available from CASE-IH, all the pictures I have seen on internet looks to be gloss white, Can somebody help me what the original color is supposed to be?

IH 901, crosses to PPG 8665, I believe. Any good paint place can mix it. Doubt if CaseIH still sells 901. The internet does not give accurate colors.

Good -- usually when a later version of paint comes out, they dropped the old one, considering that the new version replaces the old, ie no old red available since 2150.

I`m not trying to start anything here, but are you SURE the white you guys bought at your CaseIH dealer was the IH 901 and not the IH 935 which is a tad lighter and was used starting with the `56 series ? In this area ,Ive checked 3 different CIH dealers for the 901, but all they have on the shelf is the 935. Was what you guys bought authentic CaseIH paint or maybe an aftermarket brand like Van Sickle or something that your local dealer carries.I`ve always had to get my paint mixed to the 8665 PPG code mentioned by CNKS.Like I said earlier, I`m not saying anyones full of it, just trying to clear up some confusion.
