im needing the blower specks and the way u time it and what all the inside shims and what not should be.. does someone have a manual thaey and copy the page and post it for me.. im 24 and i cant aford the 148 dollar manual from detroit.. i just spent a bout a hundered on blower seals.. but i sure do luv these old crawlers... thanks in advance
 
I put blower seals in mine. And if it had the old style seals with springs and washers you will have to have the end plates machined to accept the new style teflon seals, or buy new end plates. It's been several years since I did it and don't remember it being any trouble to time it. Mine had timing marks. What's your serial number if you don't mine. I have a really high number.
 
the blower has marks on the 2 gears, id say it goes dot to dot... but how does it time to the crank gear.??? and did u have your end plates milled or did u buy different plates??
 
I had the plates machined.My son works at a machine shop. I'll look around seems like I have a service manual for a 435 which is the same thing
 
im needing to know how it times to the flywheel... i have timed the blower but how does it time o the motor when i put it back on...
