560 Engine swap

putting a 450rd in this 560,needing to know what clutch to use.This is stock motor nothing hot.Thanks!! Keith Y.
 
You are going to have use the 560 starter because the Red Diamond engine starter probably attaches along side the engine. There won't be any space for the RD starter as the frame channels will be in the way.

So that probably means you will have to use the 560 flywheel, clutch, and starter. The 560 flywheel may be drilled differently than the RD 450 flywheel. I dunno. The crankshaft flange depth to rear engine plate may be different also. Pilot bearing may have to be changed. You are better off to use the tractor parts if you want to retain the IPTO.

I doubt if any one here has done this transplant so you will have to do your own engineering. If anything looks unsafe, get local professional opinion. I would be concerned about re-drilling the flywheel along with the higher RPMs of the truck engine.
