Got a line on a running B with a belly mower. It has a wide front...that I think must be aftermarket....I didn't think IH had a factory wide front B. Sheet metal is pretty good. I understand that values vary with where you are but I sure could use some guidance on value.

They didn't. If the tires are good to very good, 1500 to 2000 (assumes no excessive oil use and good tin) if poor tires, 900-1200. JimN

IH did not put a wide front on any Farmall B's, so what you have is something that was made from two or more tractors.

It would be easy to put the front end from an A on a B, and that is likely what was done.

As to value, Janicholson is probably as close an estimate as you will get.

I would put Jim's prices as fair for a B at this time of year in the conditions listed. We paid $1000 for ours in good condition with average tires. Lot of them out there and, while they are truly fine tractors, they have limited use. With the WFE on this "B"...I would pass her by unless I really knew what I was doing.
