Let's talk about 650's!!!

Who out there has a 650? There is one on a sale that I am somewhat interested in. This one is lp and pretty rusty, but it looks kind of neat.
How do you like your tractor? How does it run? Is it the same size as a W-9? What else do I need to know!?! Make up my mind if I should buy it or not!

same size as a 9, iv never run a 650 but have a 9. They have lots of power, but with that they are thirsty, i bet that 350cid LP engine in that 650 uses 6+ gallons a hour. I would buy it if the price was right, just depends if your going to "use it" or show it. (economic)you dont seem any at shows so it differently would get looks.

Little off subject, but I just drug in a 600 diesel basket case. For the most part everything is there execpt the radiator and front grill. If anyone knows where I can get these items without buying another tractor please let me know. I am located in indiana. I really doubt that you will be disappointed sflem849 once you get that 650 up and going. Really neat tractors.

I would probably just keep it around to add it to my auction some day

The SMTA is used for pulling and the MD and H just sit there...waiting...
I really don't care about fuel consumption bc I would never use it.
How hard is the lp system to figure out? Would it most likely be factory (what to look for)? Would it make a good tractor puller?

you probably would want a diesel for pulling. saw one with a turbo on it and that thing you could not stop it. they are pretty much a 65hp tractor. the straight 9 is only around 49 hp. the super 9 is in the same class as 600/650.
