Anyone have a cross reference

Hello,
I am trying to get a customer a dist/mag
cap for a oliver tractor.
Our main brand is Standard motor products
part no AL492 but is discontinued does any one
have a reference book to cross to another brand
I know its not a farmall but it is a tractor

dont have a number book shows same no for all

The magneto is probably a Wico model J or JEM from an Oliver 60. A cap could be very difficult to find. Perhaps Bill Lopoulas can help you. Good luck!

Lots of the Wico mags were kind of universal for mounting. I've seen a mag from an AC on an F-14, & we've got an F-14 style mag on our Cat 20. Depends on how the distributor or mag drives. If it is not an Oliver "exclusive", probably a generic Wico cap would work.
